My Story
When I was a little girl, I experienced a lot of trauma. There were so many things happening in my life that I had no control over. I felt powerless. I engaged in very destructive coping behaviors. After several attempts to end my life, I was hospitalized and placed in a psychiatric ward.
My experience there forced me to realize that I didn't want to have a passive role with my mental health nor my life in general. I didn't want anyone else to feel the way I did. If I had the tools and the knowledge to defend and advocate for myself, my life would not have been as difficult as it was.
I've learned so much through my life, and I'm proud of the work I have accomplished and who I am. I live with PTSD, persistent depressive disorder, and traits of borderline personality disorder. I am a suicide attempt survivor. I now have an active role in my recovery. Every day is an endeavor towards a better quality of life.
"Dior was very clear and concise in messaging and a complete joy to work with throughout the entire process. I look forward to hearing her speak more and to hopefully getting to work with her again in the future!”
